Tulossa 2026 – TIIMA!

UUSI MUSEO- JA TIEDEKESKUS TIIMA!
”Tiima on erikoinen ja ennenkokematon museo- ja tiedekeskus. Saman katon alla toimintansa aloittaa neljä kohdetta: elämystila VISIO, Tietomaa, Oulun museo ja Lasten museo.” – Tiima avautuu Oulussa syksyllä 2026. – Meillä oli ilo ja kunnia olla osa upeaa työryhmää! Saimme suunnitella Tiedekeskus Tietomaan ensimmäisten vaihtuvien näyttelyjen näyttelyarkkitehtuurin uuteen museo- ja tiedekeskukseen. Näyttelyissä on katseltavaa, koettavaa ja testattavaa!

METALLIKAUSI – ”Metallikausi on näyttely, joka sukeltaa metallimusiikin synkkään ja kylmään alavirtaukseen. Pohjoisesta, jään, pimeyden, yksinäisyyden ja melankolian keskeltä, kumpusi 80-luvulla globaalisti tunnettu ja tunnustettu marginaali-ilmiö, joka elää menestyksekkäästi edelleen.” – ”Näyttely on kunnianosoitus pohjoisille metallibändeille, kuten Riff Raff, Faff-Bey, Sentenced, Hebosagil ja Bonehunter, jotka veivät skenen äärimmäisyyden uudelle tasolle. Heille, jotka ovat ja olivat.”

ELÄINTEN JÄLJILLÄ – ”Eläinten jäljillä -näyttelyssä pääset tutustumaan Oulun seudun monimuotoiseen luontoon ja sen kiehtoviin asukkaisiin lähietäisyydeltä. Matkan varrella kohtaat eläimiä, joita luonnossa harvoin pääsee näkemään – ainakaan näin läheltä! Näyttely on Tiedekeskus Tietomaan ja Oulun yliopiston yhteistuotanto.

Oulu on Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupunki vuonna 2026.

NEW MUSEUM AND SCIENCE CENTRE TIIMA!
“Tiima is a unique and unprecedented museum and science centre. Four destinations will open under one roof: the immersive experience space VISIO, Tietomaa Science Centre, Oulu Museum, and the Children’s Museum.” – Tiima will open in Oulu in autumn 2026. – We had the pleasure and honor of being part of an amazing team! We were commissioned to design the exhibition architecture for the first temporary exhibitions of the Tietomaa Science Centre in the new museum and science centre. The exhibitions offer things to see, experience, and try out!

METAL ERA – ”Metallikausi (Fin. Metal Era) is an exhibition that dives into the dark and cold under current of metal music. A globally renowned and recognized marginal phenomenon, that continues to thrive, rose from the depths of the north, ice, darkness, loneliness and melancholia in the 80s.” – ”The exhibition is a tribute to northern metal bands, such as Riff Raff, Faff- Bey, Sentenced, Hebosagil and Bonehunter. These bands took the scene’s extremity to a brand-new level. For those who are here now and who were here then.”

ON ANIMAL TRAILS – At the exhibition, you will get to explore the Oulu region’s diverse nature and its fascinating local inhabitants. Along the way, you will meet animals you might not often run into – at least not nearby! The exhibition is co-produced together by the Science Centre Tietomaa and University of Oulu.

Oulu is the European Capital of Culture for the year 2026.
