Oulun yliopiston Tiedepuutarha – Science Garden

”Oulun yliopiston kasvitieteellisen puutarhan vehreään ympäristöön on luotu vierailukeskus, jossa tiede, kestävä kehitys, vihreät yritykset ja vierailijat kohtaavat. Kasvitieteellisen puutarhan aulasta löytyy tiedenäyttely, jossa esitellään Oulun yliopiston tutkimusprojekteja eri fokusalueilta. Tiloissa voit tutustua myös virtuaaliseen showroomiin, joka esittelee vähähiilisiä yrityksiä Pohjois-Pohjanmaan alueelta. Monitoimitila Sara on erinomainen paikka työpajojen, hackathonien ja ryhmätyöskentelyä vaativien tilaisuuksien pitämiseen. Kokoushuone Vanamoa voi varata pienempiin tapaamisiin.”  (2020)
”Näyttelytilassa voit tutustua Oulun yliopiston fokusalueiden tutkimukseen kosketusnäyttöjen ja VR-lasien avulla. Esillä on yhtä aikaa 9-12 eri tutkimusprojektia ja niihin liittyvää näyttelymateriaalia.”

Suunnittelimme tiedenäyttelyn visuaalisen konseptin, näyttelyarkkitehtuurin ja graafisen ilmeen.
Suunnittelimme monitoimitila Saran ja kokoustila Vanamon sisustuksen.

University of Oulu Science Garden

”A visitor center has been established in the verdant environment of the Botanical Gardens of the University of Oulu to serve as a meeting point for the scientific community, sustainable development, green companies and visitors. A science exhibition has been launched in the lobby area of the Botanical Gardens where different research projects of the University of Oulu will be showcased. In the facilities you can also get acquainted with the Virtual Showroom which will showcase low-carbon companies from Northern Ostrobothnia. Multifunctional space Sara is an excellent place to have workshops, hackathons and events that require group work. You can book meeting room Vanamo for different kinds of smaller meetings (2020).” Science Garden is created through EKI Project (Vitality and Sustainability through Innovation Collaboration) which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). 

We designed the visual concept, exhibition architecture and graphic design of the science exhibition.
We designed the interior of the multi-purpose room Sara and the meeting room Vanamo.
